Re: Dual specs may be a reality
It also means that i can use my burst DPS on trash with a fellguard and then switch to an affliction build for a boss, which would be great because affliction isn't good for killing trash fast. |

Re: Dual specs may be a reality
Now with the glyphs also switching with your spec, maybe we'll see some die-hard spec fans using the dual-spec system for the same spec but different glyphs? :P |

Re: Dual specs may be a reality
Umm.. what Glyphs would they be switching to? As far as I can tell there arent many good Warlock Glyphs and especially not enough good ones for one spec. |

Re: Dual specs may be a reality
looking at mmo-champ atm since i'm too lazy to wowhead if you're pvp spec you might pick up Glyph of Howl of Terror ( reduce CD on HoT ), Glyph of Fear ( +20% damage taken before fear breaks ) and Glyph of Healthstone ( increase it's healing by 30% when you eat one ) now of these 3 only the last one has any real application when you need to kill a boss but all are very useful in pvp since it allows you to CC and survive better. naturally if you're not the type to min max then this example is a moot point. glyphs are situationally useful and dual specs enforces that quite effectively |

Re: Dual specs may be a reality
the glyphs arnt major boosts, but they are quite nice. Imp glyph Felgaurd glyph Curruption glyph conflagation glyph Curse of Agony glyph Shadow bolt glyph ill try and find the page, but there are plenty of glyphs that will help, its just that people are expecting them to have awesome jaw dropping abilities. whereas they are only minor buffs However this is slightly off topic. In response to dual specs, this would be nice since farming is alot easier (imo) with a felguard, and i would like to continue to raid as pyro lock, so this make farming a lot easier. Although i may also be tempted to the pvp/pve spec switching Last edited by qm_beta; October 14, 2008 at 08:27 AM.. |

Dual-spec for raiding ?
We have an ongoing discussion in our guild about a "hear say" of being able to respec mid raid .Can anyone confirm if this could be true ?? I do seem to remember that i read something about it here on the forums, but when i put a few relevant words in the search box, i have a lot of topics but no where i can find something about that respec thingie. Thanks in advance for the help, cos i would really like to come up with the correct version in my guild

Re: Dual-spec for raiding ?
Er, do you mean mid fight or mid raid? Mid fight, I don't see how unless you're a paladin and bubble hearth and come back after its over. Mid raid, you can port to your trainer and then get summoned back I suppose. o_0 |
