Demon Armor vs Fel Armor
With the new changes, it's time for a new debate. Demon Armor (Rank 8) 31% of Base Mana Instant cast Protects the caster, increasing armor by 950, and increasing the amount of health generated through spells and effects by 20%. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Warlock at any time. Lasts 30 min. Fel Armor (Rank 4) 28% of Base Mana Instant cast Surrounds the caster with fel energy, increasing spell power by 180 plus additional spell power equal to 30% of your Spirit. In addition, you regain 2% of your maximum health every 5 sec. Only one type of Armor spell can be active on the Warlock at any time. Lasts 30 min. |

Think this has been discussed before ? Anyways, 9 outta 10 times Im running with Fel Armor. I really only swap to demon armor for farming instances solo. And even then Im using Fel Armor alot :P |

With the same gear I had before the changes, I am breaking over 1000 spell damage marker and always at full mana and health. I don't have to worry about draining the life when life tapping for mana. New demon armor makes me last a lot longer against melee in PvP. And with the affliction coupled with DC:T (Only spec I see that brings an inch of power since it buys time for healing) I see it being the only spec in arena. |

Does demon armor get the 600% bonus from metamorphosis: 6 x (2k base + 1k demon armor) = 18k or 6 x 2k base +1k demon armor = 13k I would find out myself but i'm aff

My base ac at 70 = 1219 With Demon6 = 2077 Meta = 8533 With Demon6 = 9391 So no, no dice. Would be nice though.... |

With the upgraded spl damage values and the fact that it increases spl damage based on your total spirit I'm topping 1400+ spl damage as a level 75 Warlock. To me thats freaking awsome. 1400 spell damage will take you places in the world of warcraft. I wouldnt think to switch to demon armor once. No question fel armor is going to give you the biggest benefit.

Actually this already has been discussed since the changes, but I haven't done a search to link the thread. Basically DA = PvP and FA = PvE, though I'm sure some people can find exceptions to those rules. Incidentally Demonic Aegis is now slightly more attractive (not that I would have passed it in the demo tree anyway). |

Sometimes if My health is running low I'll cast demon armor, cannibalize, and switch back to fel armor. |
