Drain Soul-insane damage?
I've read several posts about people getting 10k+ ticks of drain soul below 25%. Can someone link a build or guide on how to achieve this sort of damage? Or just tell me via this thread. Thanks. |

I've had 13k ticks. Getting soul siphon and having a second affliction lock in the raid buffs the damage a lot. |

You need to have the highest rank of Drain Soul - this won't work at lower levels. You want Soul Siphon and Death's Embrace. Another warlock will help buff the soul siphon contribution. You need to start casting at 25% hp or lower to benefit from the higher scaling. It won't work if you start earlier and try to let it tick through. |

The stuff that boosts Drain Soul: - Drain Soul (below 25%): x4 - Shadow Mastery: +15% - Shadow Embrace (2 applications): +10% - Haunt debuff: +20% - Death's Embrace (below 35%): +12% - Soul Siphon: +4% per aff dot up to +60% (-Malediction: increases total spelldamage by 3%) It works best with multiple locks so you have the full effect of Soul Siphon, but even without others the multipliers are pretty sick and you should be able to get up over 10k ticks with just your own affliction dots.
