Vazhkatsi Character Info Vazhkatsi 70 Gnome Warlock Dalaran US PvE Guild: Phoenix Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 0/21/40	Re: Affliction tops even when outgeared? personally i've never been outdpsed by another lock on my server, at least not since i decided to stop respeccing every other week. i am well geared, but still, now that i've practiced on training dummies, i can hit 3.2k dps on a dummy, unbuffed, and i hit 4.9k lastweek on patchwerk10 with a group of mostly melee dps and one ele shammy. as long as you don't clip dots, SB as filler and make sure to keep haunt up, you'll do great. oh and i use the felhunter.

Hope you werent using the felhunter on PW....

Typically I SoC 4 or 5 on large pulls and then RoF. Playing Affliction, I try to maximize all of my time just like working a rotation on a boss so RoF is that 'filler' spell.

Yes, it's trash, but trash is part of the game and getting past it faster and more efficiently lets you clear a Naxx wing in an hour and a half vs. 3 hours.

In terms of aggro, in 10 man raids it's more pronounced and I don't drop as much seed, but on 25 man I can burst for 20k and my tanks seem to handle it well. I usually do NOT seed the "skull" mob because since he's getting whacked my seed will pop almost immediately. Dropping SoC on other mobs will give your tank time to gain aggro and then your seed will pop at the appropriate time.

Sorry about the vague sexual 'seed popping' references, lol.
