What am I missing??
My Armory: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...horn&n=Ghrokuz My Spec: http://www.wowarmory.com/character-t...n=Google+Earth My Rotation: Lifetap - SB - Haunt - UA - Curse of Agony - Corr - SB My Problem: No matter what my build is, no matter what spell rotation I use, no matter how many how-to's and compendiums I read on the subject, it seems that I cannot get my DPS above 2.5 - 2.8K, on bosses or trash. My gear is good, I'm affliction-heavy specced w/ the right glyphs set up, I know the spell rotation, I use DoT timer; I use this, I know that, yadda yadda... and yet I'm consistently beaten on the charts by others with seemingly worse gear than mine, (in 25's, im usually down in the 7th to the 12th range in DPS... thats pretty f*cking embarassing!). If you guys would, could you please look over my build and tell me where I might possibly need to improve? |

I'd say your biggest concern is your hit-rating imo. you should at least get 14% (368 hit) as affliction. Looking at your spec I have a few things I don't understand. - Why bother spending 2/2 Destructive Reach when you don't have it on the affliction side...? Spend them on Demonic Power instead to increase you pets damage. - Why Shadowburn? Imo its not useful, but you do as you like =) - Why have you not spent 2/2 Soul Siphon? That increases you Drain Soul a lot! And since you'll be using DS below 25% its worth having. Just my 5 cents... Increase you hit-rating and I think you'll be fine. Your trash dps will still suck, but you will be high on damage on the bossfights. I'm almost always in the top 5-8 when it comes to bosses. My armory: Trixtian My rotation: Life Tap > SB > Haunt > Corr > UA > Curse of Agony > BS spam + refresh dots and Life tap, below 25% DS instead of SB. |
