Mana issues with 0/41/30
I have been 30/41/0 for awhile but recently respec'd into 0/41/30 but found it hard to maintain mana or health but for a short time. I was wondering what kind of spell rotation are people using for this spec to maintain health and mana since your constantly life tapping for more mana. I have read several threads on suggested spell rotation but still end of with same problem. Also, I didn't really see much of a dps improvement by switching to the fg/emb spec over the sl/fg specc. for pve I take it? You should be able to tap enough to never run out of mana with out worring about your health. If you are running out of health than chances are your healers are letting you down. |

(As an affliction warlock, I try very hard to lifetap right after casting Haunt. But due to the travel time of the spell, it seems like my healers always manage to slip in a quick heal on me.) Don't depend on healing from healers to keep your mana up. Do take advantage of situations where healers are about to drop a big group heal that would overheal you. (Basically, if you lifetap right before that, you'll lessen the amount of overheal and not tax the healers.) Some healers will tend to you a bit more if you're at the top of the DPS chart, don't stand in poo, keep them soul stoned, seduce things that are attacking them, or use your Death Coil to quick fear things off of them. |
