Demon Charge before Imm Aura - pointless?
Does anybody know what the range (area of effect) is for Immolation Aura? I see many people suggesting that when you pop Meta, you demon charge, then pop the Aura. It seems like the Aura has a pretty decent range of effect, is it as much as 25 yards? If so, why bother charging? Charge has a range of 25 yards, so to use it, I have to lumber up to (exactly or almost) Aura range anyway. Am I missing something? Thanks for the help |

I thought it was more like 8 or 10 yards... You could check with the training dummy, get 20 yards away, pop meta+aura and see if it takes damage... |

I've never really tested it, but have always worked under the assumption that it's melee range, which varies depending on the size of your target's hit box. Instead of wasting global cool downs on using demon charge for positioning, just move in and out of range while doing instant casts (curse, life tap, corruption, etc.) |
