DPS assistance
Hey, I'm looking for some help DPS wise. I can't seem to dish out great numbers, and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or what. I'm currently raiding as affliction (Yes I know destro has slightly higher dps, but my raid spot is affliction, and I love affliction). I'm sitting right about 5k dps on average without DG. I see guilds posting looking for Locks breaking 6-7k dps. My current raid set-up is almost perfect balance wise, but we don't have ToW. My trinkets are lacking, but I've had no luck on trinket drops at all. I still don't see where I'm losing 1-2k dps though, or what I can do to bring it up. The World of Warcraft Armory I use all standard add-on's, I'm running on a cable connection, I wait until right before they drop to refresh DoT's, cast Haunt as soon as the C/D is up to allow flight time, not sure if I'm missing something gear wise. Any advice would be appreciated. |

not necessarily towards you, but if your raid is lacking ToW, you may want to get a Demo lock in there. If you do deep demo instead of affliction you'll still apply the ISB buff, so it's not like the raid will be losing any buffs out of this. Your personal dps will be lower by around 600-1k depeding on the fight/your skill, but the raid dps will go up a ton depeding on how many casters you have (and since you don't have ToW, your raid will benefit even more). |
