Well you do need new gear, to be sure. Spell power should not be under 900. The first place is to do the heroics as often as you can and take every blue item you can get. Then, as you do not seem to be the hardcore raiding type, you might try gearing up with pvp gear. While it is not tops for raids, it is a lot better than what you have. If you just keep going into battlegrounds, you will get honor points which you can use as currency to acquire pvp gear. You do not need to be mighty to get the BG points. Just go in swinging and do the best you can. Points will come even if you go afk, which I do not recommend. That will be enough to keep you advantageously occupied for a while. GL!

Compare Signet of Purity from Normal ToC with Lost Jewel from Naxx 25 and you'll see the standard stat parsing is in order. Best not to spread inaccurate information. The Heroic stuff is indeed pretty good though, and combined with the Conqueror gear you can get with emblems you'll be ready to dps Ulduar and normal ToC raids. Newbs should not avoid running Naxx. It's so painfully obvious when a person has a bunch of ToC gear and thinks they're ready to kick the world's ass because they did 3k dps in a heroic once but don't know the first thing about actual raid encounters, which are an entirely different animal than heroics. Naxxramas was intended to be a learning ground for new raiders in Wrath of the Lich King, take advantage of it. |
