Because that was in a recent update of the demo tree talents so therefore he didnt kno about them thus not spending talents in them |

And points spend are based on not being a total retard and just using the spells you should to attain max output. Why does Shadow > Fire? Shadow Vulnerability & Shadowweaving ofc! Fire lock is nice, if you play pvp. But focussing on one big damage side will make you less usefull in PvE. If you fight me for example in pvp, I have 120FR on my basic gear, that means I resist a lot of your damage. In PvE atm the most instances are fire based, in other words the mobs have higher fire resistances. Then 5% mana reduce talents is the most crap talent you can find imo, because it brings nothing, you have too do 20 casts to get 1 extra cast, so it's complete and utterly crap.
