Quick Info
Health: 8611
Mana: 8137
+Damage: 1131
+Hit: 200
+Crit: 18.83% pre devistation 23.83% with
+Haste: 120

Have you read the gearing guide? Yes

Items/Slots in need of immediate upgrade: Ring / Trinket / Chest

Upgrades you are currently working on: My badges are currently going to FR gear for Leo. Howerver:

Badge Crit Chest == priority
Epic hit/damage and haste/damage gems (2 per week from alt's badges)
Haste PVP Trinket: Need lots of Honor

All about you:
I have been over a TON of info lately on gearing and have come up with some mixed information. I have been through the Gearing your warlock thread and tried to model my gear after that guide. On our last lurker fight I was sitting at 1550ish dps. I had a very good group make up with an ele shammy and moonkin. I am not sure where to go next. Or if I have missed the point completely so any advise would be great.

That said are there any quick upgrades that would make a big impact on my performance that I have missed? I have been trying to farm Quags eye and keep my eyes out for the blessing cards. However does it make more of an impact to get the Alclarity (I think) 40 haste trinket over Quags?

Thanks in advance!!!

Right after I hit submit I realized I did not give enough information. We are starting out T5 content. We currently have Lurker / TW / FLK down in SSC with Leo up next. At which point we will start on TK.

Really if you're just starting t5 content you're good where you're at. I would say if you can get into ZA go for the Hex shrunken Head. The Scarlet Sindorai Robes are killer, that's what I'm using, the tormented are like 10 dps increase which is minimal for the amount of badges.

I think you need to concentrate on Crit over haste right now, because 23% crit with Devastation is really kind of low. You should try to rest at 25% min, but that's a preference thing.

Other then that for t5 content you're really quite good to go.

What lylie said work on crit (no pure crit gems) for the moment. ZA is the best place to gear pre T6 along with badges and your more then good for T5. Skip the FR gear for leo imo if you have other upgrades to get green FR gear is comparable and a whole lot cheaper in terms of time invested.

Re: Next Steps in Destruction Gearing

If you have the robe from H.MGT spending 100 badges for the crit one is a massive waste of badges.

Priority: Your spell hit is hurting you the most. Get the cloak from Princess in MGT or the one from Prince in Kara, Ashyen's Gift from CE exalted rep, and the S2 blade from honor.

Next: T5 shoulders and soulfrost for your MH

Low priority: Bracers of nimble thought. If you're stacking haste already you might as well get the best.

Other than that you look good enough for the content you're in.

Re: Next Steps in Destruction Gearing

Thanks guys.. I actually wear the Cloak of the Betrayed when raiding with a VNT to put my hit at 200. I was dinking off helping someone last night so I put on the crit one.

It looks like there are a few things in ZA I should be working on picking up.

Hood of Hexing / Wubs (dagger) / Mana Attuned Band / Hex shrunken head. Up until last night I had not even tried to get into the ZA runs but I will make that a focus.

Side note should I be concerned that my HPS seem to be falling through the floor the "better" my gear gets?

Re: Next Steps in Destruction Gearing

hmm, imo gear is not ready for haste stacking. I think 1200spell damage unbuffed and hit capped, is when you start stacking haste. But thats just my 2c =).
