Have you read the gearing guide? Oh yeah, since i was 60

Items/Slots in need of immediate upgrade:
Cloak - subtlety. For sure.

Upgrades you are currently working on:
Im not sure where my next step is. T5 obviously..wondering what to do and where to improve in the meantime. My guild may never see it ;)

All about you:
I am a relative latecomer. I played wow for a while until I was 40 and then quit for a few months, and came back after BC and levelled to 70 and started raiding. Im loving the raiding, but my guild is casual so not sure how far we will actually go.

I'm looking for advise on where to go next.
Where should I look to improve what I have, to get the best dps out of my gear. I have full T4 and full shadowweave and I go back and forth as to which gear is better. Any opinions on this would be great. I am hitcapped in both sets so that is not an issue.

I have Darkmoon Card:Wrath in my bags. Should I use it over what I currently have equipped and which one?

Anywhere you can see room for improvement in my gear/spec I would love to hear the experts opinion on.

Thanks in advance !

Cheers.

Re: T4 or Shadowweave?

I personally prefer the T4 shoulders. If you're hit capped with FSW it's probably better though I'd keep the T4 for when you lose hit elsewhere. I don't think there's much in it.

As for the next step. Save up heroic badges, and run ZA and get lots of post 2.4 badge loot, which is slightly better than T5 in most cases. Gear wise, full T4 is plenty for the first few bosses in ZA. The only really gear demanding boss of the animal aspects is hallazzi (he's easy but gear demanding). By the time you've learnt the other 3 though, you should have had time to grab badge loot as a group and will be able to steamroller the whole instance, also get a chest or 3.

I can't see your armory (blocked at work ) but everything I have read is that the Blessings Deck (makes the Crusader trinket) is best. Maybe you want to rethink the Darkmoon Card:Wrath.

Re: T4 or Shadowweave?

T5 shoulders, which you have, are better than T4/FSW. ;)

I suggest you don't gem crit, instead gem haste in yellow sockets once hit capped. (Looking at bracers/belt, here. >.<) Other than that your gear looks fairly solid.

Yeah, wrath is garbage. Use crusade/icon until you can get the za trinket off Hex Lord, then go icon/hex shrunken head.

Re: T4 or Shadowweave?

Thanks for the response ..unfortunately this site doesn't work at work :(

I have a TON of post 2.4 badge gear in the bank in addition to the T4/FSW as well as Fury of the Ursine Bracers from ZA... the gloves, robe and boots i believe....(not IG right now). Would these be better?

But it looks like my guild is going to need me to spec Afflic for raid support..after working so hard to get hit capped. /sigh

Re: T4 or Shadowweave?

Be prepared to change specs as needed. Have various gear, get the FP gear to tank Leo (always a good way to get a seat in the raids). As for what gear works best together, go test it yourself on Dr. Boom. even if something is mathmatically better your particular style may make something elses more effective. Spend a day or 2 shooting at Dr. Boom from around 34,59 in Netherstorm. I like having the 2 T4 bonus along with the 2 piece spellstrike bonus and the FSW Robe, boots of incantations.
