New Metamorphosis Vid!!

Here it is...

it seems that duration still exist,i do not understand this,with heal part removed...
new melee ability in,very nice^^
and the skin,well, it looks awesome..

But honestly,it still sucks as 4 gameplay...i still wonder why they do not remove a duration when you loose so much by morphing..with heal removed,there are truly little reasons to take this talent.

I hope they're workin on it...i'd love to see featherfall ability,and some great buff OR a duration removal...

It does look quite awesome, running through the Immolation reminds me of the Balrog I imagined as a child reading Tolkein but mechancially?

It also appears that your demon *does* de-spawn when you change (there was some confusion over this recently). Hmm, no soul link then?

It would be nice to see some 'testing' of the demon form in some pvp content, for me at least. For example, how useful is that stun/cc resist; can you change *when stunned/cc'd* or not; how much of a loss is the pet (if that is what happens); how does it handle spell pushback; what happens when you face a paladin (Turn Evil), warlock (banish), rogue (CCs)?

I'm not sure I'd take Metamorphosis for PvE, so that's less of a personal interest for me. That said, I've just received a beta key, so when I get some time (young family, work, etc) I will see if I can test it out...

Ohw man...Opathu, you just took all the fun out of it with all that thinking.
It's already messed up as a lock with calculating your specc with gear, pet, gems and enchants. Just wanted to have some fun leaping around with that big winged dude...but now you've got me also thinking pvp and petscaling (if they despawn). :-(

Demonic Leap..... O.o
That looks damn cool, but I thought we had a rush or charge ability? I dont recall this demonic leap, or is that just the standard jump?

That demonic leap gives ya some edge at pvp. You can jump away to higher ground or just away from your attacker (Warrior or Rogue) and start your dot fest.

Interesting. He doesn't start out with a pet, but it spawns after he returns to caster form. Free pet summons?

Important note from this video: Metamorphosis and the accompanying effect do not impress girl blood elves.

Geeky undead warlocks will still need their succubi to save them from social ignominy.
