TheAkrab has contributed something special

Character Info
Akrab
70 Undead Warlock
Sunstrider Euro PvP
Guild: NiHao!
Talent Spec: 54/17/0
Beta: first glance

I just tried the new infernal, it's on a 20 minute cooldown and has a 1 minute duration (it breaks apart after 1 minute).

There is only one word to describe it... Divine.
The Infernal's fire aura deals 180 fire damage per (maybe 2) second(s) to all around it. And its melee attacks deal about 300 damage per hit. It's very hard to kill as well. I tried it out in Vengeance landing against a level 69 Wild Worg (roughly 7k hp each). The infernal accidentally pulled 4 of them. Just to see what potential it has, I let it take care of the Worgs without interfering. The Infernal won with about 20% of its HP left. It's also the same level as the Warlock again.

I've only tried Affliction so far and I like it. The new Eradication talent is insane, it lowers the global cooldown on DoTs and decreases the cast time of all other spells. I must admit I did not expect this talent to work so well with affliction.

Fear
Has a new animation, it's not that different from the old animation, but it now leaves a trail of crazy purple sprockets (whatever you want to call it).

Haunt
Everything works about this spell, except the healing part. No healing gained so far... They've changed the animation though. It is now a purple orb that shoots towards the target, then turning into something similar to a fear symbol above the target. When Haunt returns it's a green orb. Haunt does NOT deal damage over time. It deals damage only once. The damage dealt by the haunt spell is close to that of a shadowbolt.

Amplify Curse
Is no more! It is now a constant passive effect. (15% extra damage to Curse of Agony and CoD)

Curse of Exhaustion
Greatly improved, reduces movement speed by 50% and range increased to 36 yards. The range of this spell is not increased with the Grim Reach talent. (Been wondering about that one for a while, sadly no extra boost)

Dark Pact
Is just plain insane! I can replenish my mana bar to full within 3 seconds.

I'll get some videos on youtube today to share with everyone.

Cheers!
