I'd say Nov or Dec

Oct is too early imo unless they get <everything> done in 1 month or less ( which doesn't seem possible ). if the release it Nov that gives them a solid month and a half to test level 80 content... again assuming a new build gets rid of the level cap by Aug end.

Dec is pre xmas period... enough said i think

I dont think they realise that deathknights are bit op atm too.. I hope the figure that out by release.

I think they probably do. I think that with them being aquired they want to draw ALOT of new players and what better way then letting some nub sauce come in witha 55 death knight and only have to level 25 levels VS the 80 levels we have done. Hell I thought you were going to sacrifice a level 55 character to get a death knight. at least then you would have worked for it and risk losing a character you developed and like to something new that maybe you don't like. I am getting less interested in the death knight as more information is coming out.

When will Wrath be released?
T.C. - When its ready. Specifically, the fifth of when it's ready.

They released The Burning Crusade on 1/17/07 (a Wednesday...well...midnight of the 16th....but it was technically the 17th)

The next Wednesday the 5th is 11/5/08.....

It's a joke. A reference to an old love song ("Until The Fifth of Never") that has since passed into English idiom.

"The fifth of never" is another way of saying "never", so paraphrasing this into "the fifth of when it's ready" simply means "when it's ready".

They're saying that they do NOT have a release date yet, and will not be setting a release date until they are ready to ship.

Given that they used to work with many of the directors of the ill-fated Flagship Studios, it's safe to assume that they are keen not to repeat the disastrous release of Hellgate:London. If anything, they'll probably wait until later in the development cycle than they did with BC before setting a release date.

relax shick as powerful as they look the deathknight still has huge weaknesses like every class for instance like every class a rogue will be able to kill one in 5 seconds or less...i hate rogues

Still seems to me that there's a whole ton of stuff that has to be tweaked and tested. I still don't expect to see it in 2008 and I'd rather they wait and get a good game out instead of rush-releasing a load of new content that needs to be tweaked in a whole stream of patches in the first few months.
