Shoulder 'enchant' in wotlk
Lo,
Have had a search around and can't find anything about this - and not sure if this is even the right section of the forums but here goes my question anyway. In Wrath of the Lich King will it still be aldor/scryer rep for shoulder 'enchant' (a new level 80 version?) or is this going to change to a new rep or is something else going to be able to do shoulders enchant? I ask because my alt is 70 for a little while and I haven't grinded all the way to exalted with aldor yet and wondering if it is really worth the time/cost ![]() |

Re: Shoulder 'enchant' in wotlk
There is absolutely no way they will be forcing newly-rolled characters to grind to exalted with an Outlands faction for endgame enchants. It's the same reason why we had Cenarion Expedition instead of Cenarion Circle in Outlands, and will be seeing a new faction linked to the Argent Dawn in Northrend. Blizzard deliberately avoid giving established characters any sort of rep advantage in a new expansion.
The shoulder enchants will be on a new faction. You can take that to the bank. Yes that works to the detriment of players like myself who spend >90% of their playtime on a single character, but I understand why they do it. Hopefully the rep grind won't require lots of runs of a single instance. (I haven't seen anything about the proposed tabards that would grant the wearer rep for the tabard's faction even when in another faction's instance. If that makes it in then rep grinds may be a lot easier. ) Last edited by Lurker37; August 21, 2008 at 07:33 PM. |
