I was just checking out the engineering recipies since my pally alt is an eng/miner. It may be sad, but the most exciting thing I could find was the Gnomish Army Knife. The only reason I like it is:

"Includes Gyromatic Micro-Adjuster, Arclight Spanner, Flint and Tinder, Blacksmith Hammer, Mining Pick, and a Skinning Knife." (from MMO-Champ)

Forget the resurrecting abilities--I'm a pally, I don't need it. I'm a sucker for efficiency. Think of the bag space this creates. Now I don't have to run to the bank all the time to get my tools. I'm so excited.

That's a great item . . . I went goblin so my horde lock has 'device envy.'

EDIT: I just went and looked and the Gnomish Army Knife does not list Gnome Engineering as a req - just 350 Engineering.

Hmmm. I like the portable mailbox schematic; and the bladed pickaxe for my hunter (mining/skinning but not an engineer).
