Inscription coming EARLY

There's been a blue post concerning the Pre-WoTLK patch

Inscription will be added as a profession with the patch, and the trainers wil be in existing cities.

We'll be able to get up to 375 Inscription before Wrath of the Lich King is released. and beyond that once it is.

So, who's going Inscription and not using a new alt (i.e. DK) to do it? Who'll be at 375 Inscription when the expansion hits?

Re: Inscription coming EARLY

Ya the the moment my main (My much cherrished warlock) has Mining and enchanting. I lvled him with skinning and mining since he was my first toon and need to gold income to support my lvling and then when I got to around 50ish dropped skinning for enchanting. From what I can see I think enchanting and inscription will be the most powerful end game proff combination. Tailoring is good but for the most part the places where the patterns drop have equally good BoP items and I enjoy the clearing content and winning rolls for items instead of farming mats for weeks on end.

The biggest problem for me is I spent ages saving low level chanting mats thinking it would logicly be what inscription would sure but turns out it uses herbs (tho now everyone powerlvling alts I sold all those mats for a massive profit). I do have a herbie alt but he is only around level 30 so its going to cost HEAPS to level inscription but I've slowly started gathering herbs before the price of low level herbs goes through the roof. That and some very nice herbies from my guild have been sending me their spare herbs since its I'm the most likely to get to 80 before alot of the guild and can start farming stuff so we have a high level inscriptor as early as possible.

Re: Inscription coming EARLY

I'll take inscription on my lock ( scroll of recall needed )

But will we really be able to take it before Wrath of the Lich King or with these patch they'll just add instructors characters in cities ? (i red somewhere that the inscription trainer will be in northrend only ??? )

So if inscription is available before Wrath of the Lich King, i'll take it but, we will only be able to craft some low level things like scroll of (str/intell...etc...) since the glyph interface will not exist yet , right ?

Saving it for my DK as I'm happy with the professions I have at the moment (Although I am thinking of dropping tailoring unless I see compelling reasons to keep it).
