flying mounts in wrath

I'm usually a lurker in here but i had a question i don't think has been addressed, namely how are our flying mounts going to work in wrath? i know we are going to have to learn cold weather flying or need to buy cold weather gear for our mounts but how much exactly is it going to cost?

i have a friend on beta and she told me its 10K

and a quest that you HAVE to have to get beyond 77. she hasn't confirmed this yet because she is not 77 yet and hasn't seen it for herself. i don't know if this is specifically for beta or what but it would really piss me off i hated farming the 5k for my epic flier and if its necessary to even get to 80 i don't think id like to play anymore.

I'm pretty sure i saw a blizz interview that said it would cost but it would be less than the epic flier i would just like some clarification i know this is not specifically for warlocks but it does affect us a lot.
please some one deny this...

10K gold, lmao. I think a lot of players would actually quit over that. They did the right thing on making it just a quest, seeing as our wallets hurt so much to get the damn things already

My guess is they're not making us pay through the nose for flying in Northrend because they can't be sure that new characters will have an epic mount by level 77, especially if it's the player's first character on that server.

According to Wowhead the quest no longer gives Cold Weather Flying - it's now bought from the flight trainer in dalaran for 1000g less rep discount.

1000g that's bullcrap. Certainly not as bad as 10000g but still...it's ludicrous to ask me to pay ANYTHING just for the right to use something I've already earned.
