WWS of lvl 71 affliction lock
This is the WWS of a 9 minute span of beating on the invulnerable mob int he blasted lands. I tried to keep up all 5 dots and haunt as much as possible but with new keybinds and no dot timer it wsa a little difficult. Also, this spec didnt have any points in death's embrace or destruction.
Wow Web Stats *** Information added 3 Minutes and 7 Seconds later... *** I guess I should also mention the gear that was equipped while recording this... She normally stays in her destro gear and here is her armory: The World of Warcraft Armory The riding crop was switched for the darkmoon:crusade card. so did SB really only closly edge out corruption? or did it perhaps gain ground when you would go OOM and it would finish ticking while you tapped? with 8 erradication procs and that many SB cast, it suprises me it didnt account for more of your damage. I think I personally would drop immolate from an affliction rotation now, since its not buffed by shadow mastery, contagion or everlasting affliction and save that CD for filler nuking, especially during erradication procs |

Re: WWS of lvl 71 affliction lock
Yeah sorry I was thinking about when I had recorded a short clip of Haunt.
Here are some things to keep in mind about that WWS: 1) I had no points in destro so no bane, no ISB, and no pushback resistance (the mob was beating on me the whole time). 2) The corruption refreshing talent seems to be broken so ideally I would never have to refresh it and thus I would have more time to cast filler spells, which would be nice because I had my hands full trying to keep everything up. 3) I didn't use the Hex Lord trinket very much because I really had my hands full trying to keep all the dots up. Once I got used to this you would probably see dots gain a little bit of ground due to them getting a big benefit from the trinket use. 4) There were no raid consumables used. IN a raid environment with manaspring and spriests I'd be spending less time tapping and more time using filler spells (shadowbolt). Also, I was keep up immolate since it was affected by Haunt and would also increase the damage of Shadow Bite (although I didn't have out a felhunter at the time). I'll test it a little more tonight with a felhunter and see if I can get a dottimer working to better simulate a raid environment. I will also try one without a felhunter on Dr. Boom so I don't have to worry about spell pushback. |
