DPS Bias (pt.2) Author: Eirchi Posted: June 12, 2009 10:35 AM In summary, looking at the entire instance, which classes top the damage meters? 42% Rogue 16% Death Knight 14% Mage 12% Warlock 4% Warrior 4% Druid 3% Hunter 3% Shammy 2% Priest 1% Paladin So the maxim "Bring the player, not the class" works best when the player is a Rogue. ---------------- And which builds are doing the most damage? Rogue - 87% Combat - 13% Assassination Death Knight - 71% Unholy - 21% Blood - 8% Frost Warlock - 50% Affliction - 50% Destruction Mage - 80% Fire - 16% Frost - 4% Arcane Shammy - 100% Elemental Priest - 100% Shadow Drood - 100% Feral Warrior - 75% Fury - 25% Arms Hunter - 70% Survival - 30% Marks Looking at the data you can see some builds are better for particular bosses. For example Affliction Warlocks are very strong on Yogg-Saron, but not as good as Destruction on most of the other bosses.
