Group Make-up: Me + Shadowpriest + Lock + Huntersx2

Information: My dps is well below par on these attempts (first night of attempts for the guild and myself ofcourse). I seem to be doing less dps/damage even though i'm casting more SBs (all 3 of us locks are destruction).

Can you guys tell if i'm doing something wrong, or is it just down to gear difference?

I haven't looked at the report yet, but you should really replace the eye of mag. it is very sub-par once you're hit capped. You guild is prolly running ZA, so I'd shoot for the hex shrunken head, or if their isn;t a massive line of people in front of you, the skull of gul'dan would be vastly superior. After just glancing at the wws, it looks like both of the other warlocks, had a higher average hit and hit more often, this part is just luck. Also, they both had a higher crit. % which made up for the difference in # of hits. Looking at the other locks' armories, their gear is a fair bit superior to yours, a few things: get the badge wand, its only 25 badges; swap the crit. gem in your shoulder for a dam. and haste one; get a new main-hand, drops may have been bad, but their several that would be worth while, the 2 daggers out of Za, fang of the leviathan, and tempest of chaos are all better than gruul's dagger.

1) Your crit is about 21-23% on most of the long attempts, like 10% lower than what I would expect for a sunwell lock.
2) Probably should be casting more shadowbolts during the fights. Only did 114 on the 2 6min attempts--means youre casting shadowbotl for only like 80% of the fight (114x2.5sec / 360sec).

Some of your fellow raiders need some serious help on their dps--dont see how some spots are justified.

Well, i have just been accepted as a member a month or 2 ago. So i havent had much of shot on gear.

Both the eye and main hand need to go. but i'm having Zero Luck with Zhar'doom and the Skull, and no chance for ToC since we've stoped doing MH.

As for Crit, only items i can find that would actually increase my Crit rating (without losing my 4p bonus) is the T6 shoulders and bracers.

I've been checking other Logs, and it seems like I'm doing as much if not more Sbs than locks that have actually killed this guy and done 2k+ dps.
On our first attempt (attempt 8) to last 6 mins, I casted 91 Sbs with 20% crit ,
while on the second attempt (attempt 10) we got him to 6%, i was doing 103 Shadowbolts with 23% crit.

This was our first night, so the fact we actually came near to killing him once our twice isnt half bad. (Even though, i defo agree some people need more dps).

EDIT: I'm usually working the night they raid ZA. and I'm trying to keep my hit @ 220s so that when i swap bracers or Weps, i'm still cap'd.

Get Soulfrost for your mageblade.
Swap your headsocket for +spellhaste +spelldmg
Get rid of the Eye of Magtheridon.
+6 all stats > +150 hp on Chest.
Get the Badge reward wand and an apropiate socket.
Do not socket crit in your shoulders nor should you socket for spellhit, rather go for 2x +10spellhaste
or +spelldmg+spellhaste-sockets.

Don´t know if you are threatcapped early on in the brutallusfight, but
your cloak is in dire need of the Sublety enchant.

From what I can tell, your gear is severely lacking compared to the other two warlocks in your guild. For your gear, you seem to be doing ok, perhaps a bit on the low side, but the previous suggestions about swapping around enchants and gems should help. What suprises me is however the fact that your other two warlocks aren't performing too well at their own gear level. From what I can tell they both should be pushing 2100+ consistantly at least, and with good attempts ranging from 2200-2300 dps.
